David Conway
Solicitor: Admitted 1980; LLB (Hons)

David has been admitted as a solicitor for over 25 years and has acquired a wealth of experience, particularly in property matters. He is the joint head of our commercial property group.  He has a large international clientele for whom he has undertaken complex and difficult transactions. He has been involved in a number of large property developments (including the acquisition of development land and its subsequent disposal, often as new residential and commercial blocks) as well as mortgage funding and planning work. He has also been involved in some difficult drafting of pre-planning Agreements, negotiating with a number of Local Councils. He also has experience in dealing with commercial landlord and tenant issues. He is also a trustee for some substantial trusts.

David was trained at our Edmonton branch in North London, and shortly after becoming a partner of Brass Conway Ingram (which subsequently merged to become part of BACI), opened and then managed our Hendon office (the predecessor of our current Finchley office). Consequently, he has gained a number of useful administrative skills. David has also been a member of the North Middlesex Law Society Committee.
